I guess it is no surprise that since Windows Live Essentials was released this past week that Paul and I would spend some time discussing it on this weeks show. Unfortunately our feelings over the release wasn’t all roses as there were definitely some points where we felt that this was something that wasn’t quite as ready as Microsoft might have hoped.

This of course lead us onto the subject of the way that Microsoft is handling the next version of Internet Explorer and how they could possibly have a winner on their hands even though it raised some questions about this new browser complicating their usual software business.

From there we finished up the show talking about the failure of the Kin and how it wasn’t necessarily Microsoft’s fault but will still be perceived as such (thanks Verizon) and how the company is misjudged and proclaimed as dead or dying because of things like this. That is unless of course you take a look at the numbers.
