Personally I think the Batman: Arkham Asylum graphic novel by Grant Morrison and Dave McKean is one of the best Batman stories out there, followed closely by The Dark Knight Returns by Frank Miller of course.

Since the original publication Arkham Asylum has gone on to be a rather popular game as well as inspiring some rather nice desktop wallpapers. I’ve collected a few of my favorites up into a Windows 7 themepack. The pack includes the following:
