This month is a pretty important one for Microsoft as it preps to launch Windows 8 to a world that is still a little bit confused about what exactly is coming their way.
While we have already seen a couple of the new ads for Windows 8 the one’s released today are not just for the US as they take the campaign for their product worldwide.
As Brandon LeBlanc wrote in a post announcing the ads:
As we enter the final countdown to the global launch of Windows 8, today marks the global unveiling of the Windows 8 advertising campaign going live in 42 countries. With the reimagining of the Windows product experience—marketing is breaking from the past as well. The idea behind the campaign is to be more motivating, more rooted in the product experience – less tell and more show – by connecting in an emotional and culturally relevant way that maps to the breadth of the global reach.
This first ad is for the North American market; and features the music of Best Coast but like all of the ads plays heavy to a fun and active lifestyle, and I have to say do a pretty good job of it.
For Asian markets and a dose of parkour
For Asia and South East Asia
For the Latin America market
