HoneyMap Might Be Really Cool But It’s Really Scary At The Same Time
We all know that there are more reports of malware attacks happening everyday than we can really understand but what if you could see those attacks as they are happening – in real time?
That is the idea behind a new site from the non-profit Honeynet Project called HoneyMap where with the magic of HTML5 and CSS3 they display the data collected by “honeypots” around the world (the yellow dots) and that ping directly to the map where they are being attacked from (red dots).
It may not seem like much when you first launch the page but give it a few minutes and you’ll start to see the action as it happens and it can come fast and furious.
Kind of scary if you think about it.
