Update: It turns out that this might have been an unintentional hoax. According to WMPoweruser these were just some spec renderings.
Apparently, the image created by one of our most frequent contributors has now become the new face of the next HTC device. The mockup he created about 3 months ago has gone around the world from London to Italy, Japan, china, Indonesia, and has finally made it back here to the US blogs.
In light of the pounding that Microsoft took yesterday in the tech blogosphere over the pulling of the Kin I guess any good news would be welcome which has surfaced as a leak of the specs, with images, of the HTC HD3. Now this might not seem like much unless you are a true hardware geek who gets a warm feeling in all the the right places at the sight of spec sheets but the big news is that this is one of the next Windows Phone 7′s.
The information comes from the team at Mobile Mentalism who got all gushy over the specs
The HD3 looks set to come with Windows Phone 7 Series, which is a big deal in itself. But it’s the amazing list of features that HTC have managed to cram into the HD3 that is so jaw dropping.
Seriously, think of any hardware feature or spec you’d like to see in your dream phone, and the HD3 has it – in spades! Add to that the tasty novelty of being one of the first Windows Phone 7 Series phones, and the HD3 looks set to be one of the most anticipated phones of the year.
But you can tell by the end of the post that they just couldn’t find the same joy for the Windows Phone 7 software.
I’m still not convinced by Microsoft’s new Mobile OS, but I most certainly am by the HTC HD3! I can’t wait to see it, and I can’t wait to see how a phone with those specs will perform with Android!
Oh well I guess you can’t have everything. anyway here’s the specs for the HTC HD3 (sporting Windows Phone 7)
