Microsoft has never really had  the reputation for a company that pays attention to every last little detail and while I’m not really sure how fair that assessment is they are getting high props for doing just that when it comes to Windows Phone 7.

I mean what else can you call it when they go that extra step to provide different sounds for when you type on the soft-keyboard in Windows Phone 7. According to a presentation given by Matthew Bennett, Senor Sound and Sensory Designer as Microsoft, there are 8 subtly different sounds that are played in a loop as you tap on the keys.
