I think I just made a mess somewhere and I will totally understand if you have to go running for that super-sized drool towel after seeing the above image but hurry back because we have a video of it in action.

While I wait for your return here’s a few boring facts about this visual awesomeness. It was purpose built by Swedish company Norman Design for use by its customers as a way to train for Formula 1 racing. The 110-pound screen uses a bunch of rear-mounted projectors that are powered by custom made software on a PC. The whole unit, including a movable F1 body will run you $114,000.

Now before you start weeping into that drool towel the screen can be bought separate from the whole F1 training thing but you’ll have to check in with the Norman Design gang for actual prices.

Now, just to let you see what you will probably never be able to afford here is the system in action playing F1 2011 and DiRT 3 using a Thrustmaster 500 RS Racing steering wheel.
