It’s been awhile since we’ve posted a Windows 7 themepack for download but now that I’ve managed to finally get around to fixing my desktop wallpaper problem you’ll start seeing more themepacks being made available. This Saturday’s collection has to do with robots, of all kinds. Here’s what you’ll find in this weekend’s collection titled: Robot Afternoon.

At some point about a month or so ago my desktop wallpaper became stuck. Nothing I did would make it change. I could change the theme through the Personalization area of Windows 7 but everything else would change except for the wallpaper. I didn’t really notice the problem at first but then about a week ago I installed a really nice Captain American theme but the wallpaper didn’t change, which really irritated…

Even though our national holiday, Canada Day, has come and gone many of my friends in the United States are celebrating their July 4th holiday – otherwise known as Independence Day. This theme pack is for them. It contains 8 beautiful images of animals that I found, including two of your national bird, courtesy of the team over at Zeemp.com (thanks guys). Hopefully you will enjoy them.

I really like the new themepack idea that came with Windows 7 and the ability to rotate specific desktop wallpapers. I really wish there was support for dual monitors so that each monitor would show a different wallpaper from the theme pack but maybe one day. Anyway I decided to dig into how these packs are made and it turns out to be pretty easy, or so it seems anyway….

I already have the first two of the excellent Bing theme packs for Windows 7 so as soon as I saw this pop up at LiveSide I made a beeline to grab the new set.
