href="http://www.istartedsomething.com/20090803/life-comes-together-alternative-windows-ad/">some great digging by “Mr. Microsoft Detective” Long Zheng</a> we find out that besides the known ad campaigns – Life without walls and I’m a PC – there was another campaign that some work was done on but never saw light of day – until now. For the majority of the ads by John McNeil, then creative director as McCann Worldgroup, there was no overt display of laptops or desktop computers there was a common slogan used in many of them:</p><p
align="center"><em>this is my computer, it’s just a computer, but it’s also my life</em></p><p
align="left">Long Zheng believes they are part of a campaign suggested to Microsoft but ended up being rejected. Personally I kind of like them even though they kind of push the <em>warm and fuzzy</em> envelope.</p><p
align="left">Here’s all 9 videos that were apart of the proposed campaign. What do you think? Better than what we have already seen for Microsoft’s campaigns or just more of the same old boring stuff.</p><p
