While I am not sure about the reasoning behind associating Bing and Windows Phone with the undead it seems that AMC and Bing are running a sweepstakes where the lucky winner will end up in Season 3 of the the hit AMC show The Walking Dead.
Just ran across this conversation between the @Bing and @Twitter account on Twitter
Hmmm .. wonder what’s up?
Courtesy of Long Zheng over at istartedsomething.com we have a few new video ads from Bing. This time around they are going with a “decide with your friends” tagline that also emphasizes Facebook Likes.

Well today during his keynote speech at the opening of the Worldwide PArtners Conference Steve Ballmer did make the following statement:

This of course doesn’t come close to providing any real numbers but for better or worse that is all we have for the moment.
As expected there were a flurry of posts trumpeting this news across the tech blogosphere before the keynote was even finished; once again suggesting that Microsoft doesn’t get mobile and needs to get out of the business.
Bing is launching an interesting update to their iPad app today that is bringing some improvements along with a new way for users to search for stuff on the iPad using Bing.
Apparently from the research being done by the Bing team they found that conducting searches on the iPad can actually be a bit of a pain that can take up to nine steps before you see any results. The idea behind Lasso is to reduce those steps down to two.
