The Why and Wherefor

I am not a big fan of the standard type of CPM advertising that you generally see on the majority of blogs as I feel that things like Google AdSense do neither the advertiser nor the reader a real service in serving up ads they will be interested in. While I still run things like Google AdSense I am moving all my advertising to a Sponsorship model.

The reason for this is for the advertiser they are paying a flat rate and as such know exactly what they are getting for their money. For the readers it will be advertising of products that are more inline with what they will be interested in. In this regard I will always reserve the right not to carry any Sponsorship ads that I feel are outside of the interest range here at WinExtra.

2. Monthly Pageviews: averaging 20,000 to 22,000 per month (Lijit Stats for WinExtra - Public Page)

Sponsorship Fees and Run Length

There are there different ways you can purchase sponsorship space on WinExtra.

1.  A single 468 x 60 banner style ad block which is located at the top of the two sidebars at the right side of the page.
     Price: $255.00
     Run Period: 7 Days

2. One of three available 125 x 125 graphic ad blocks which will be displayed as two blocks at the top of each of the two sidebars at the right side of the page.
    Price: $135.00
    Run Period: 7 days

3. Sponsorship text with links that would go out with each post via the WinExtra RSS feed. As well a 125 x 125 ad block would be included. Given that there is a minimum of 2 posts per day with a maximum of 5 posts your Sponsorship Text and links would be seen a minimum of 1,500plus times a day. This doesn’t include the number of times that your complimentary 125 x 125 ad block would be seen as well.

    Run Period: 7 days
