Surely you’re dying to figure out what’s new in the forums, why else would you be reading this? I mean, are you really that hard up for reading material?

Ok, let’s start with some news you can use. Over in the Software Help section, Dontor brings us a post on how to Repair the Vista Stack. If you’ve ever uninstalled a piece of malware or poorly written software and then suddenly lost your Internet access, you’ve possibly have a broken or damaged TCP/IP stack. Dontor’s walk through will get you back up and running. Reportedly it’ll work for XP as well.

In Hardware Help, Joe’s looking for input on how to improve the range on his school network. (You remember Joe, the guy that asks questions and then answers them before anyone gets a chance to type something?) Well, Joe handles the computer and network stuff for a school. Seems he does a pretty good job of it too.

Staying in the Hardware Help area, Joe asks for some help on selecting laptops for his school to purchase. I’m happy to report, he’s back to his usual antics. Six posts in the thread, only one belongs to someone not named Joe…. Still, his final choice is not bad and it comes in under $1000.

Over in General Technology News, we find WalMart at the center of a very hot debate. Do they or don’t they? DRM that is.

Chadman’s still throwing his molotov cocktails over in The Cage. The flame fest is roaring, still, and the political chit chat is growing stronger. Jump in and have some fun.

Over in the Cool Links section, Cleo posted a link that made most folks feel stupid, even if they won’t admit it. Are you smarter than a Fifth Grader? Of course I won, with a little help from my friends. Well, ok, my eight grade daughter helped me. And it only took six or seven times. Still, we won. Hint: the questions start to repeat about the fourth time through.

In the Coffee Shop, Billy puts up a post titled “A virgin’s plea” and admits that he’s a virgin and he’s still trying to get laid. While we laughed at him, we also empathize. Please, take a look and see if you’d be willing to do your part and help him out.
