In 44 days NASA’s SUV-sized Curiosity Mars rover will be attempting to complete one of the most amazing landings ever planned by the space agency.

To help us understand just how awesome this landing will be, and one even some of the engineer’s have called crazy, NASA has put together a really cool video where the engineers involved in the project explain just how this landing is so different from anything they have tried before.

The title comes from the actual landing on Mars this August 5th when it will take just seven minutes to descend to the planet’s surface safely.
