As quadrotors become more common place we are bound to see some pretty interesting ways to use them much like this rather beautiful demonstration from Ars Electronica Futurelab and Ascending Technologies GmbH in Austria.

Called “The Cloud in the Web” the night time light show featured 50 AscTec Hummingbird quadrocopters all communicating via radio and working as a synchronized group.

This apparently is the highest number of quadrotors working together as one group but really, who cares eh, it looks beautiful.
