Nature is pretty incredible, as evidenced by the massive snowstorm hitting the area where I live, but there is always something bright and cheery courtesy of Mother Nature to help take your mind off of the snow.

As incredible as nature in the raw might be it sometimes takes the talented work of photographers like Alexander Semenov to make us realize what we are missing. Things like starfish for example, which with the help of Semenov’s excellent macro photography shows us a world we might never see.
