They tell me that this is something that all good blogs should have so that you the reader won’t think that we are trying to pull the wool over your eyes at some point. So rather than have a separate policy page for individual policies that apply to WinExtra I’ll do them all here.

Commenting Policy

We have one very simple rule when it comes to people leaving comments on blog posts here at WinExtra – be polite and respectful.

None of the writers here is against intelligent discussion, or even heated disagreement, when it comes to things that they have written. What will not be tolerated is any form of trolling or verbal attacks of any kind.

We also reserve the right to remove any comments that we feel break this policy, are nothing but spam, and insulting or grossly insensitive.

Affiliate Policy

We have one hard and fast rule when it comes to using affiliate links here at WinExtra – we must use and like the product or service that we have linked to. When it comes to books they must be ones that we have read and outside of any reviews, must be ones that we enjoyed. The same applies to any software and hardware.

Review Policy

When it comes to reviewing anything here, whether it be books, software, service or hardware, we will always take the side of the consumer. We will not bias our reviews to benefit anyone regardless of the company or author providing items to be reviewed.

We will always disclose at the time of the review being posted who provided us with the review item and it will be in plain sight at the top of each review post.
