Okay, maybe that’s a little strong but for anyone who whiled away the day playing pinball on Windows NT (you had to search for it) or on Windows if you managed to copy it over from an NT machine it is good day when you find out that Zen Studios; in conjunction with Microsoft Games, has made their awesome Pinball FX 2 game free in the Windows 8 Store.

Ya you read that right – free!

You only get the Mars table for the free game but you have another 18 tables that you can purchase with the price being $2.99 per table.

I have to say that the graphics are absolutely gorgeous and the game play is pretty damn good as well. So if you love playing pinball and you’ve just done your Windows 8 upgrade then click on the Store tile and go into the game section and grab yourself a copy of Pinball FX 2. You won’t regret it but don’t come whining to me when you suddenly find yourself losing a couple of hours.
