I am a big SimCity fan, well at least up until SimCity 3 I was anyway, but if this demo given by EA at this years’s E3 conference is any indication I could very well be back in the fold.

While the basic premise of testing your city building skills hasn’t changed the engine that drives the game has and in a great way in my opinion. Also new with this version of the classic game is a multiplayer aspect where your actions can affect other player’s cities and their actions can affect yours. As well you can work with other players to build things like airports that will benefit everyone.

While I’m not much for multiplayer type things I am really looking forward to this new SimCity but for now, like you, I’ll have to make do with the occasional screen cap and video as we head the to March 2013 release date.
