You know this had to happen right?

It seems, according to a post by John Briggs on CrunchGear, that some hackers out there have managed to gain control over the motors in Kinect. The video, while very short, shows the motors being control by a small desktop app in Windows 7.

There has to be a Kinect API somewhere. It stands to reason that it’s available to game developers, and if so, leaking is inevitable.
