Di passed away on Tuesday.
Di passed away on Tuesday.
Heaven is a richer place.
Her pain has ended.
It is hard to go on. Be strong. Those around you may have to look to you for strength. Find it where you can.
Hold on tight to the memories you have so that they give you the strength you need.
All of us are here for you.
My heartfelt condolences to all her family and friends.
I will miss Di for so many reasons. Her dedication to remembering everyone's birthday even when she was going through rough times. Her willingness to take on anything whether it was her grandies or the newest operating system. And so much more.....
Rest in peace, you are a true lady Di!

Dawn
How sad for all of us. How painful for you. My thoughts and prayers are with both of you.
Goodbye, Dancer…
Don't care if it is a public group
FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK!!!!!
My Thoughts are with Wayne and her children, she was strong for all of them.
Our family becomes smaller and sadder.
This was posted in a group Di and I belonged to and as far as I am concerned it is fabulous and has Di down to a tee.
"Over her life, Di has made many friends from all walks of life and all parts
> of Australia. We, from one little corner of the internet called "The Comfy
> Couch", would like to pay tribute to the memory of our much-loved member, Di.
>
> We have shared in recent events in Di's life - the move from Alice Springs to
> Mildura, the birth of grandkids, the renovations to the house, family
> reunions and sicknesses. We laughed with Di and we cried with her. We
> listened to her sage advice on a whole variety of matters, and we gave her
> advice when asked. Unlike most internet communities, our "Couch" doesn't
> exist just on the computer screen, but many members know each other in the
> real world as well. Most of us have met Di and Wayne in their travels, and
> remember them as a lovely couple. Di's straightforward approach and sense of
> humour are fondly remembered. Most of all we remember her friendship.
>
> The final thing we shared with Di, of course, was her illness. We were glad
> to hear of the successes in her treatment, and saddened by the setbacks.
>
> Di, we bid you a fond farewell. Your memory lives on in our hearts. Our
> condolences go to Wayne and family."
That does describe Di to a tee. Our condolences to friends and family.
RIP Di. It was an honour to know you.
Our planet has one less of "the good ones" now. Sad day.
Safe journey Di.
Many of you have said the things I want. I'll just add that Di was one of the first in the group, over a decade ago in a newsgroup far far away, who made me feel like I was one of the group. She's one of the reasons I stuck around. My life was enriched having known Di, and continues to be enriched knowing all of you.
Missed this thread on my first visit here tonight. Saw the other one...
Wish I'd known her better...
RIP Di.
