What a bunch of absurdly inarticulate f***s. They have no clue why they're there.
"This is the last bastion of hope, right here, America." How about over there, America? Or there? Or even there?
I have no patience for this drivel. The followers are just as moronic as the leader. Let's spread hate, anger, intolerance and ignorance in the image of Glenn Beck.

Anytime you have a gathering of a large group they are bound to scrape the bottom of the barrel and find some who have to write "left" and "right" on the tops of their shoes.
Toss in someone with a camera and mic trying to find the dumbest and ask some questions you know are going to cause emotions and you are bound to get some interesting footage to edit.
Look at how acorn came off appearing like they were promoting prostitution and pimps.

scrape the bottom of the barrel
Of course the bottom of the barrel folks are often the ones with the loudest, most strident voices, and the ones with the signs.
What matters is not the years in one's life but the life in one's years.

The problem really started when news orgs started having ratings. Now the entire world only sees our extremes. Responsible, articulate, intelligent and informed Americans make boring "news".

It's also too easy for people to edit video these days. You have high ranking officials losing their job over it... I'm sure you could give three people a camera and mic, a set of questions to ask, and find the story you're looking for in any group of people.

According to Bruce Schneier, "news" is "something that rarely ever happens"
Or, as the French saying goes, trains that arrive on time are not "news"

Trains arrive on time in France?
