Our weather spotters in Alabama use Wave. It was a great tool for us. It allowed us to keep things on topic and let the weather forecasters get topical info much quicker and to the point. We used other software but it is easy to get lost in the numerous posts. Wave kept things more categorized as we were adding info. Alerts were issued with more accurate details. Most do not realize that dopler radar can only tell two sides of an area have winds moving in opposite directions suggesting there maybe a tornado. A person must make the report. Same as with flssh flooding. Alert only goes out when we report it. I've had flash floods on the tv air within 45 seconds of reporting it.
