I suppose I would have to consider installing messenger on my system for this t be a problem

Does hotmail delete/deactivate your account if it is dormant for a while? IF so my hotmail account has been gone at least 8 years now. I don't want to log into it to find out so I guess I will just ignore it.

I wonder if this is true using just trillian on a MS messenger account. I log into my MS messenger account in trillian very infrequently (maybe once every 4 or 6 months). I don't talk to anyone through IM anymore unless it is an emergency, then I log in to see if the person I need to speak with is also logged on. This might happen every couple of years or so.

As you can tell I am a social media pariah.

Messes made. Jobs left undone. FREE estimates.

I'd guess, if you can log into your account using Trillian, then it's still active. Trillian uses the same protocols as the the other IM programs it replaces.

Yep... I can still log in to MS messenger using trillian

HI STEVEN

WOW I even had an email from Microsoft in my hotmail account. I must be important. The previous email is dated Sept 2005.... been a while since I logged in I guess.
