Hi, my sister bought a nice Toshiba laptop with Win 7 Home Premium x64 on it. However one of her most used apps uses a 16 bit installer and won't install on it.
I have Professional x64 on my laptop, I'm taking it down this weekend. If I can get her app to install on my laptop, we'll probably upgrade her to W7 Pro x64.
I've done some looking around, seems to be in the $150-$160 range or so. Anyone know of any outrageous sales that may have missed?

I'm not 100% certain but I believe that only the 32bit Win7 will run 16bit apps.

Maybe run XP in a virtual machine? Fiddly but it should do the job.

That's why I'm going to try it on my W7 Pr0 x64 bit before committing her to one. If it runs, it runs.:-)
