As some of you may have noticed the forums got hit by a massive spam attack this morning - 140+ posts. I've just spent the last hour and a half cleaning up the mess and I think I have gotten them all.

As a result I've now activated a couple of new plugins for new registrations. I hope this will help stem this most irritating bunch of people from infecting our forums - for now.

Thanks to everyone who either PM'ed or emailed me to let me know that was happening.

Yeah, I came in while it was happening. Kind of pissed me off to sit here watching the douche's post count ratchet up.

same here, it was painful knowing there was nothing I could do to stem the flow either

I saw them, but didn't bother to PM the Boss. Because of the time lag, I figured he'd see the problem in good time – and he did
