Well, we are forbidden to use anything else at work and a few of our web aps work ONLY with IE6! I'm one of the very few who was told to install Chrome.

I refuse point blank to install it because I see it as just more spyware.

Ahh, I was told to install it because our public portal had been compromised and those of us who were on some list as having something to do with web pages for our groups were asked to install Chrome and then view each of our pages. If the infection was still there an error of some kind would happen but our browser or computer would not be infected. Of course what they should have done was to run a script on all the web pages, duh, - and they did that about a day later. Both IE and Firefox were vulnerable.

The one and only time I installed it was in a virtual machine, which I destroyed immediately after my test was done. I like Google as a search engine and I use Gmail occasionally (for newsletters and the like, nothing private), but everything else from them is highly suspicious. In addition, they take their sweet time repairing the detected vulnerabilities, even worse than Microsoft.
