Just a little addition.
The small fire icon you might see beside Topic Titles both in the sidebar Latest Discussions on the Main Page as well as the individual Forum sections is meant to highlight topics with the higher number of replies over a certain period of days.
Right now I have it set to 5 or more replies posted over the prior two day (from viewing date). These can be adjusted for more replies needed to trigger it and the number of days covered.
