This is regarding the "Latest Discussion" section that is currently in the sidebar are. Now this is the typical placement of the "Latest Discussion" section in a bbPress install (you can see the typical over at bbPress http://bbpress.org/forums/ ).

I have changed the setup in order to make it as similar to what you were use to as I possibly can but being in the sidebar I am limited to available space.

So here is the question - and majority will have the most influence on final decision - would you prefer "Latest Discussions" to stay in the sidebar area or would you prefer it in the main body of the main page?

Also if in the main body of the page would you prefer it over top of the Forums list or under it?

I like the placement, but agree with the other thread that the amount of info it provides is not exactly helpful

I'd like for there to be separate page - like the old unread posts page, which could expand the sidebar info.

i.e:

keep the sidebar on the main page, but have the detailed info on another page altogether.

I know it isn't either of the options we had to choose from, but I think it'd work best for everyone.

I'm happy with the list where it is. Phreebase's suggestion has a lot of merit. I'm wondering if this is a fair way of doing things - we come up with the ideas & you do all the work. I love these smilies.

I am NOT old, just a young person that a lot has happened to.

My opinion: Why do you need any other information with a discussion subject. I think the timing of the last posting, for me, is all the information I need. As to where the post is posted why would that information help is it not the posting that you are answering? Steven I like it just the way it is. The more you add to a web site the more complicated you make it and the need for more changing. I like it just the way it is-period.
