If some of you are having problems with being directed to the old testing URL (/bbpress-tmp/) chances are you visited while I was working on testing the conversion. Solution - a couple of hard refreshes and deleting of WinExtra cookies - then type in the URL to start fresh.
RE your avatars - because this is a Wordpress based forum package it makes use of the Gravatar service for your avatars - http://en.gravatar.com/ - the major advantage to this is that any blog/forum that supports Gravatar images will use the one you upload rather than you having to upload one to each of the places you log into.
