When I rebooted the router it forgot all of the assigned IP addresses I set up.... Is this normal/typical?

Definitely not. Only a reset should be able to remove these assignments. You did commit the changes before logging out of the router's setup, didn't you?
No, I don't think so, but anything is possible (I've logged in and out several times and the assignments were still there). I made sure that I did save/apply this time. I Just pulled the power to the router for about 2-3 min then powered back up. All reserved IP addresses were gone.
When I entered them again the DHCP server wants to assign the same IP to 2 machines even though they have separate addresses reserved. While writing this I get a windows alert saying there is an IP conflict.... Time for more screen shots
I have 2 devices residing at xxx.xxx.x.2 One of them has a static entered IP (the NAS) and the other one collects its IP dynamically
Seems the more I do the worse it gets
Followup:
I was able to clear the IP address assigned to this machine by setting to static and letting it fail, then switching back to dynamic address. No more ip conflict.
