I heard from Stryker, the owner of the website with E's game. He is indeed still slinging CID "in memory" of E. (BTW, Ernest Fairchild was not his real name) ,Like myself, he hasn't heard from him in a very long time, and as far as he can tell, the divorce and accompanying bullshit took a hard toll on him and he had a breakdown. He's heard the same rumo(u)rs as we have, (sex change, suicide, etc) but has not seen nor heard anything to support any of them other than his persistent lack of lack of being present. Last I spoke with him, despite his ex being an institutionalized freak, the possibility of losing his kids had been brought up, I know I wouldn't want to go on without my girls.
I know many here had issues with E's methods of dealing with life, but I really felt for him, as I was able to identify with a lot of what he went through, (sans the gender confusion, of course) so I was able to understand what made him the way he was to some extent. After all, we're all a product of our environment to a large degree. I was very saddened when he stopped replying to my emails, and even more so when the rumors that he'd taken the route of suicide started floating about.

He legally changed his name to Ernest Fairchild. I'm pretty sure Ron knows his real name.
No one would ever wish anything bad on Ernest. He was annoying at times, extremely frank about all of his problems and a friend to many here. I wish we knew what really happened

Talk about the past - I remember quite a few of them. Of course I do remember pissing off a lot of them, making friends with a lot as well. Although it wasn't quite a lifetime ago, it was one marriage ago, a lot of GF since and now a lot of miles ago.
