offlineMemberIn the Broadway Musical all of the music is played and sung by the actors. Instruments come on and off the stage all the time. Most of the actors play at least three different instruments. There are 38 wireless mics being used in the show. That's the most ever used in a B'way show. Before the show starts, as the audience is coming into the theatre, the cast is onstage having a truly festive jam sessions. This montage doesn't do the show justice, but if you're interested:
