We have had power consistently for the past 5 days. The overall outage ran for 14 days (intermittent black outs for the last 5 days of the outage).
We will be installing a whole house generator sometime this year which will be housed in its own gen building and fed by natural gas.
Next time the power burps I won't even notice it

My experience says that you should regularly test it and let it run a bit.

Seems these mosquitoes carry dengue fever, and there was a bit of an outbreak in Key West, FL. Now they would like to release 'OX513A', a genetically engineered mosquito to cull population. Their experiments in Brazil accounted for an 80% reduction.
