The reason I ask, if you've not yet covered this area, I'd suggest a group outing..it lends itself to less self-conciousness than it would if it were a one-on-one encounter. Let's you get to know the other person just enough to know whether she's the sort you'd like to date. If you've covered the group thingy then I'd suggest like someone else did--a coffee or something that could either be quick or slow-depending on how you get on. And one thing to always remember when asking someone out on a date-never date someone you wouldn't care to marry. The reason for that is if you are simply out for a good time and date a spendthrift who has no earthly idea of how to manage money, or date a slob who couldn't care less about her surrounds or personal hygeine...any thing of that sort you CAN get 'stuck' with if you happen to fall in love with her and decide you simply can't live without her.<G>And don't say you'd never be able to love someone like that--it happens every day!
