Garry - and others - have requested for the ability to edit one's own posts regardless of when posted. There <strike>is</strike> was a time limit of 60 minutes after which you could no longer edit them.

I've hopefully fixed that so if some-one wants to find one of their older posts and see if it is indeed editable I'd appreciate it.

Okay this was one of the things I wasn't sure if it was working right or not. Well it is but it definitely needs to be presented better.

As it is right now if there are new posts since the last time you visited the only indication is the change of text color for the Date/Day under Freshness - http://screencast.com/t/MTJjMGMxY2Y - this has to be handled better but it means I will have to dig into the plugin code to see what I can do to improve it.

but it is part way there at least.

Alrighty now.

It isn't working yet for the main page notification of new posts since last visit but it is for the Topic list for each of the forums. As well it is also working in the Latest Discussions on the main page.

I have also added a link which will let you update your topics read (to be honest I'm still trying to figure out what the plugin author means with that). I had a Mark All Read link as well but it did just that marked everything as read. If that is still wanted I'll put it back.

I'm working on the notification of new posts since last visit for the main page but the code is a little hinky so I'm have to look for some help to try and figure out why it's messing up. As soon as I get it figured out I'll get it in place.

Just to save a bit of repetition here's some of the things that I know need to be dealt with:

File Attachment uploading - this is a work in progress as I am looking for some outside help on getting it working

New posts since last visit - I have a plugin that is suppose to deal with this but it isn't working so I'll have to see what can be done

image constraints for linked images

I am sure I will be adding to the list over the next couple of days but right know I'm a little brain fried from doing the conversion. If you think of anything just post it to the Forum Suggestions and Bugs group and tag it with 'to-do list' (sans quotes).

Oh and that ugly ass green banner notice thingie at the top of the page - it will be going away as soon as I figure everyone has made the move

Under the old forums, clicking on a link in a post in IE would automatically open a new tab or page, thus making it easy to get back to the thread. In the new place, the "target=_blank" tag seems to be missing… <img src="http://www.winextra.com/forums/my-plugins/smiley-choice/Default Smiley/icon_sad.gif" title=":(" class="bb_smilies" />

This is regarding the "Latest Discussion" section that is currently in the sidebar are. Now this is the typical placement of the "Latest Discussion" section in a bbPress install (you can see the typical over at bbPress http://bbpress.org/forums/ ).

I have changed the setup in order to make it as similar to what you were use to as I possibly can but being in the sidebar I am limited to available space.

So here is the question - and majority will have the most influence on final decision - would you prefer "Latest Discussions" to stay in the sidebar area or would you prefer it in the main body of the main page?

Also if in the main body of the page would you prefer it over top of the Forums list or under it?

Just under the space for writing a new post (or a reply) beside the word "Tags" - should be "separated". A minor detail, perhaps, but I think good spelling is important.
