Okay this was one of the things I wasn't sure if it was working right or not. Well it is but it definitely needs to be presented better.

As it is right now if there are new posts since the last time you visited the only indication is the change of text color for the Date/Day under Freshness - http://screencast.com/t/MTJjMGMxY2Y - this has to be handled better but it means I will have to dig into the plugin code to see what I can do to improve it.

but it is part way there at least.

Just a little addition.

The small fire icon you might see beside Topic Titles both in the sidebar Latest Discussions on the Main Page as well as the individual Forum sections is meant to highlight topics with the higher number of replies over a certain period of days.

Right now I have it set to 5 or more replies posted over the prior two day (from viewing date). These can be adjusted for more replies needed to trigger it and the number of days covered.

Just a little something.

Alrighty now.

It isn't working yet for the main page notification of new posts since last visit but it is for the Topic list for each of the forums. As well it is also working in the Latest Discussions on the main page.

I have also added a link which will let you update your topics read (to be honest I'm still trying to figure out what the plugin author means with that). I had a Mark All Read link as well but it did just that marked everything as read. If that is still wanted I'll put it back.

I'm working on the notification of new posts since last visit for the main page but the code is a little hinky so I'm have to look for some help to try and figure out why it's messing up. As soon as I get it figured out I'll get it in place.
