Trying Hard To Contain My Nerdgasm Over This 1930 Art Deco Henderson Bike
I’ve only driven a motorcycle once in my life and that was just a back field dirt bike, but that has never stopped me from appreciating motorcycles.
This of course has meant I’ve had more than my fair share of motorcycle love-affairs from the Yamaha Shadow to a good friend’s custom built Harley trike. However I’ve never been a drooling basket case when admiring some incredible motorcycle builds, that is until now.
What you are seeing here is one custom made 1930 KJ Henderson Custom which is, needles to say, the pride and joy of of one Frank Westfall of Syracuse NY. The bike was first unveiled at the Rhinebeck Grand National Meet in 2010 and still continues to create a wave wherever it gets put on display.
Underneath that gorgeous art deco styled body is an inline 4 air cooled engine and reportedly the bike is a little difficult to drive. As incredible as this bike be to look at with these images I can only image what it would be like to see in person, let alone drive it.
