When I was growing up the best I could do with a LEGO set was build a box house with a roof that kept falling off so the idea that there are people like Paul Boratko who can do things with LEGO sets like this supercar makes me just a tad envious.

Boratko built this Vampire GT using LEGO Technic parts and if you think just looking at it cool enough wait until you hear this – its got a working five-speed transmission as well as working gull-wing doors. This of course goes along with the working steering and the ability to switch between rear-wheel and all-wheel drive.

Apparently the Vampire GT model is up for possible consideration as an actual LEGO model on their LEGO Cuusoo voting site so if you’d like to get your hands on this get over there and get voting. In the meantime here is the video showcasing Paul Boratko’s awesome work.
