Amazing – CERN Scientists Use LEGO In Some Experiments
Well this gives a whole lot of nerd cred to those little old LEGO blocks that we played with as kids. Not only are they being used to create awesome scenes from our favorite sci-fi movies and television shows but it seems that they have found their way into the hallowed halls of scientific discovery at CERN.
While they don’t use them in actual experiments, yet, the scientists at CERN do use LEGO models of things like the Large Hadron Collider for logistics purposes, as well as using them to create miniature models of potential experiments.

Pictures were taken at CERN by David Gabriel Marks of Michael Hoch, a physicist and artist.
