So, you think you’re pretty cool with that flying quadrotor and all eh.

Well you’ve just been one-upped by r/c builder Richard Hamel who, after watching How To Train Your Dragon, that it would be really cool to build a flying dragon; but not just any flying dragon, no, this one had to breathe fire.

Hamel started off with a JetCat P80 turbine with 22 pounds of thrust and then built t he dragon around it. With that kind of power the dragon can go beyond 100mph on flights which is perfect for showing off its scales, teeth and red LED eyes. The flame is provided by a stun gun at the base of its jaw using a canister of liquid propane.

Like I said – you’ve been one-upped and as you can see in the video this is one awesome looking dragon, even though you don’t actually get to see it fly (WTH!!! ).
