I have no idea why but the Internet loves bacon, me I could take it or leave it but mention bacon anywhere on the web and you will have people profusely announcing their love for these strip of pork fat and meat.
A couple of weeks ago I posted the trailer for what looked to be a pretty incredible fan-made short film based on the video game Deus Ex: Human Revolution that had been in gestation for over two years.
This is really turning out to be a lousy day with two “official” trailers being released for movies that I have absolutely no excitement for. The first was Tom Cruise’s new theater outing, Edge of Tomorrow, and now we have yet another Hercules movie to suffer through.
Poor United States, it never fails that at some point the country is getting absolutely destroyed by everything from Mother Nature to aliens and infections to bad B movies on SyFy.
I am sure that this is just the first of the tsunami of promo videos headed our way for the newest installment (reboot?) of the X-Men film franchise. That said I have to say that this looks like it could very well be a badass film to see.
Over the years there has been a lot of attempts by YouTube and others to bring real quality sci-fi, like H+ and Riese, but do a sci-fi web series search on YouTube and you’ll find all kinds of start and go nowhere projects.
I know a lot of folks are looking to Johnny Depp’s Transcendence to be the walkaway favorite this year when it comes to science fiction movies but I think he might have some serious competition with THE SIGNAL.
You know there is taking selfies (which I really wish people would stop taking already) and then there is the Russian way of taking them.
