Microsoft announces the Kinect and Xbox 360 Bundle

This just popped up on the Microsoft News Center and for those looking for some goodness out of Redmond when it comes to Xbox 360 and the new Kinect the most important questions about price get an answer.

Not being an Xbox 360 owner I can’t speak to if this is a good deal or not but I am sure that there will be plenty of nay-sayers coming out of the woodwork over the pricing scheme.

The bundle which will include:

  • Xbox 360 4GB Console
  • Kinect Sensor
  • the Kinect Adventures

The price in North America will be $299.00. You will also be able to buy the Kinect Sensor, which will also include the Kinect Adventures game, for $149.99 when it launches on November 4, 2010. Now if you can’t wait to get your order in you can apparently pre-order either the Bundle or the stand-alone Kinect Sensor, which will work with the some 40 million Xbox 360s out there, at most major retailers.
