Calling All Bacon Lovers – This is Your Nirvana In A Roll
Don’t get me wrong, I like bacon, I just don’t get the geeky infatuation with this heart attack induce slab of fat and slivers of meat.
That said if you are a bacon lover this post will probably induce cold sweats and an instant desire to head to the grocery store while the BBQ warms up.
So make sure to pick yourself up 2 pounds of thick-cut bacon, 2 pounds of pork sausage, some BBQ rub and spices because those are the requirements to building this ode to baconhood.
Now I’ll just let the pictures provide you with the step-by-step method for preparing this feat of bacon goodness. The once you’ve created the roll of bacon awesomeness trow it on the BBQ over hickory smoke and cook as 225 degrees until the internal temperature is 165 degrees; but make sure to apply liberal BBQ sauce near the end of the grilling.
