The Nautilus II Table – Just Plain Gorgeous
This is a table that just about anyone, I think, would love to have in their home. It is the Nautilus II and was created by Marc Fish as an experimental piece using modern computer aided technology and innovative construction techniques.
The table was created by layering over 4,000 individual pieces of walnut and sycamore veneer; which was all based on the “Golden Ratio” as found in the nautilus shell. The table’s texture replicates the outside of the shell which was created by hand carving the fluted patterns and the inside satin sheen was created using Japanese lace paper.
Now tell me you would love having this beautiful table in your home.
