It might be a holiday in the US and tech news might be pretty slim pickings but that doesn’t stop the crew here at WinExtra from finding at least a couple items of interest for the round-up.

One of the other things I took away from Code Camp was a bit of .NET culture shock. As you can tell by glimpsing around on this blog, I am somewhat enamored with the idea of starting my own business. I’m a natural entrepreneur and it is my wont to think about startups constantly.

Tweak IE is a free program to change various settings in Microsoft’s Internet Explorer. The portable software displays a list of available tweaking sections in its sidebar on launch, among them toolbar, control panel and restriction tweaks. - Unlocker now removes stubborn files on 64-bit Windows - Download Squad
If you’ve ever received an error message when trying to delete a file, then you know what Unlocker is for. It’s a free utility for deleting or moving files that are locked by a Windows process — which is why Unlocker has long been a part of my malware-busting toolkit. - Notable Changes in Service Pack 1 (SP1) Beta for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 – Codename Windows

Windows Phone 7:

We know LG is a key partner of Microsoft in its Windows Phone 7 push, so it is reassuring to know the company is working on more than one handset running the new OS.
