I love it when I post some handy tip and other come along and add even more tip goodness. This is what happened after I posted my last tip for the new Sticky Notes in Windows 7 which saw a reader named ‘yel’ leave a comment with a whole slew of handy keyboard shortcuts.

I went through them and while some are the typical Windows type of keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C etc) there were some that were really neat. So without further ado here is some more keyboard shortcut goodness for your Sticky Notes.

  • Ctrl + Shift + A – this will capitalized the highlighted letters if they are normal case or visa-versa.
  • Ctrl + r – will right align the current and following lines of text
  • Ctrl + e – will center align the current and following lines of text
  • Ctrl + l – will left align the current and following lines of text
  • Ctril + t – will strikethrough the current and following line of text
  • Ctrl + 1 – single line space
  • Ctrl + 2 – double line space
  • Ctrl + 5 – 1.5 line space
