I admit it - I love the wacky, the strange and just plain way out in left field type of stuff that be found if you happened to end up wandering the strange side of the web. Traveling around the web hunting for stuff that makes you wonder just WTF they were thinking can take time which for some of us can be a rare commodity.

So the best way to sample this wacky side of the web is to hopefully come across web sites where the best of the best are brought together for us. Some of these types of site are almost as scary as the content they send us to but then on the flip side we occasionally come across well designed - almost artistic in their simplicity - of which web zen has to be among the best.

web zen typically publishes a new list that follows a theme of some sort every week on Fridays. Every link that is a part of that week’s theme will never fail to surprise and it is always a good idea never to be drinking or eating while following the link trail for that week. Sometimes they will lead to things of beauty and other times they might lead to videos of total insanity.
