The posts on my site with the most search engine hits are clearly those with user-generated content (comments).  Since Disqus is loaded client-side with Javascript, you&#39;re sacrificing a ton of search engine juice.  It&#39;s another service that subtly takes power from your blog in return for some cool features.  I own my blog and comments drive it&#39;s ability to remain fresh and target keyword densities, etc.  Until Disqus goes server-side, I can&#39;t afford to touch it.</description>
