My appreciation of FeedDemon is well documented here on WinExtra as well as more than a few likes or comments on other posts on FriendFeed about the program. For me it is an indispensable tool as a blogger and is one of the few applications that is forever running on my machine from startup to reboot.
FeedDemon is a great program for bloggers with the ability to bookmark links or pages any number of way. It gets even better when you customize the SendTo menu so you can send feed posts to a variety of outside web service like reddit or FriendFeed. With all the features that Nick has included in FeedDemon you almost never have to leave it for anything other than actually writing your posts.
Well almost and this is where I think one feature that if added either directly or as an optional plugin would truly make FeedDemon an indispensable tool for bloggers. That one thing would be the addition of a Twitter/FriendFeed client in a third panel. Already with the drag and drop support in the program FeedDemon makes saving and sharing information drop dead easy. Now as a blogger who uses both Twitter and FriendFeed as part of their blogging toolkit having that support included in FeedDemon would - in the words of Corvida - make the program awesomesauce.
I can see many arguments against the idea but I think that there are enough bloggers who use FeedDemon that this would be something they would really use and appreciate. Not to mention the number of folks who would possibly consider switching to using FeedDemon if this option was available.
I would totally understand if Nick ran screaming into the sunset at the idea of doing something like this but a guy can dream can’t he

If that was added, I'd be writing comments on all sorts of blog posts I read in FeedDemon.

I've actually considered doing exactly what you describe, but my desire to keep FeedDemon focused on a specific task (ie: reading feeds) makes me shy away from it. That's the same reason why I never added NNTP, even though some competitors offer it.
That said, I still like the idea of making FeedDemon more "sociable," kind of like Flock with an RSS focus.
