I’m still in the process of consolidating stuff and getting things figured out in my head as to where I want this blog to go since we’re no longer allowed to be valuing our work but one thing I will pass on at this point is that I won’t be talking so much (hardly at all) about blogging itself.
One of the responses that I have seen consistently whenever I have talked about bloggers and blogging is that what readers I do have couldn’t care less. Trust me it has finally sunk in but in the meantime here is a few things that caught my eye on today’s FriendFeed pipeline.
Blogging’s Naked Truth :: Deep Jive Interests - some interesting thoughts from Tony Hung over this past weekend’s little dustup.
Writing self-cleaning WordPress plugins :: Development on a Shoestring - as far as I am concerned every WP plugin author should read this post.
What I Hate About the Internet - Everyone is a "Social Media Consultant" :: DigiDave - an excellent teardown by David Cohen of what is irritatingly called social media
Web applications and their desktop clients. :: Colin Walker - an interesting post on why maybe desktop clients for web apps aren’t always a good thing
TwitLinks: The Techmeme of Twitter? :: ReadWriteWeb - Richard takes a look at a new attempt to aggregate Twitter along the lines of Techmeme - here’s a hint - it doesn’t work.
